Common questions
How do I delete my account?
Open Settings › Account and tap Delete account, then confirm. Our server deletes your account straight away: its ladder name, its secret, your rating, points and tier, your ranked record, and any Game Center link. The game also removes the account's key from your device.
Your past matches stay for your rivals, without your name. If you play online again, you get a new account. If the Delete row can't be tapped, this device has no online account, so there is nothing to delete. More in the privacy policy.
Do I need to sign up?
No. Matches against a bot need no account at all. The first time you play online, the game makes you an anonymous account with a generated ladder name, such as “Ashen Falcon 27”. There is no email address or password to remember.
How do ranked tiers work?
Your first five ranked matches place you; until then you're Unranked. After that your points set your tier:
| Tier | From |
|---|---|
| Warlord | 1,750 points |
| Obsidian | 1,600 points |
| Gold | 1,450 points |
| Silver | 1,300 points |
| Bronze | 1,150 points |
| Iron | 0 points |
Your points are your skill rating, held back a little until the game knows how good you are, so they climb as you keep playing. Once you reach a tier, you can't drop below it this season.
From Unranked to Silver, if nobody else is waiting after about 20 seconds, you play a bot instead. It's always named as a bot.
Which devices can I play on?
iPhone and iPad with iOS 26 or iPadOS 26 or later, which means iPhone 11 and later. The game plays in landscape, either way round, and adapts when an iPad window changes size.
Matches against a bot work offline. Online play needs an internet connection.
What happens if I lose my connection?
In a match against another player, a bot takes your seat at once and hands it back when you reconnect, so your party isn't left standing. In ranked play, a seat that's gone for more than about a minute and a quarter forfeits the match.
A ranked match that ends before the two parties ever meet is voided and changes no one's points.
How hard are the bots?
There are four levels: Easy, Normal, Hard and Expert. Harder bots make better decisions. None of them gets extra health or damage, and none can see through the fog of war any better than you can.
When can I play?
A public beta through TestFlight is coming soon. The link to join will be on the game's page when it opens.
